Here's how Shelby and I look these days.
I feel great and everything's going really well. She moves a lot. Especially right now...I think she knows I'm talking about her. She's going to be sick of me poking her, but I can't help teasing. She kicks back, too - we already play!
Life with pregnancy brain has been interesting. I've managed to drop and shatter two jars of marinara sauce on the kitchen floor (while Tom was on a work call...nice timing), I put a roast and veggies in the crock pot, turned it on, but forgot to plug it in (thank goodness Tom noticed or dinner would have been pretty sad), I managed to get a splinter lodged under my fingernail from bed to tip (ouch!), and...the kicker...I killed my car. Remember my Paseo? Turns out her third fender-bender with me was her last.
Here's the last we saw of her crunched self. We donated her to charity. I cried! Turns out I was a little attached. No damage to me or to baby, though, thank goodness.
So we're now a one car family...plus a new toy to get Tom to and from work. Yes, we own a motorcycle now. Some of you already know this story, and we definitely owe photos of the other new "baby" in our lives, so we'll be sure to get some pictures up of the bike and Tom in his gear. He looks GREAT, I must say.
Never a dull moment!

1. Mom is going to FLIP over the motorcycle, Justin will be envious.
2. I used to just RUIN food at the early stages of my pregnancies, that used to tip us off (along with VIVID nightmares)
3. I always forgot simple words like hanger and pencil.
Your belly is cute, just wait till she gets the hiccups, ours would get them daily.
ps my "word" is no men :)
Heather- you're so cute! Shelby is bigger than she was two weeks ago for sure! I thought of you today when I saw a huge $2.99 sale at Children's Place. Most of it's kinda bright and crazy but they do have great cotton footie pajamas for $2.99. Whitney has had about 10 pairs of those over the past two years. Thought I'd pass along the sale info in case you're by a CP sometime soon! There is nothing cuter than a kid in footie pjs!
Aw, sister! You look so cute!! I love your little belly! Baby Shelby must be growing and growing! :)
You are so cute! I wish my belly was that little and cute! Can't believe we're half way through!
Precious "Belly Shot". Sorry about the "owie" to your car. Glad it was only the car and not you or Shelby. Tom..Be careful, wear your helmet & ride easy. Silver Bell on it's way. I love you three.
CUTE belly heather. you tiny little thing you. Im sure ill be twice that size at 21 weeks. My brother says by the looks of the back of my arms, Ive got f.p. :fat potential. LOL ohh i love brothers. But your arms look great so i'd say you'll stay hot!
You look adorable!! Glad everything is okay with you and Shelby... don't worry about the pregnancy brain... by the time baby #3 comes you won't have a brain... anyway that's how I feel! Good luck with the second half of your pregnancy.
I can't believe the Paseo is actully gone for good....lots of memories for sure! I'm going to miss the little PISS-eo!
:)
I read these two blocks out of order, so I guess I should say you look really cute but Tom doesn't quite look like I expected in "motorcycle gear". Drafty, much??
So sorry about your car. I remember saying goodbye to our little Bismark, a VW, after Dad rolled it. Cute cars have lots of memories.
Scary, babe, I'm glad you guys are well. I've broken my fair share of jarred goods too. Now you can also look forward to post-pregnancy brain, which is equally awesome.
And I second Lynn, the hiccups are super cute--very rhythmic.
