She's been sleeping well, playing lots, and...getting two teeth! Her little bottom ones have made their debut and they're adorable.
Here's our happy sleeper:
Speaking of birthdays, Tom and I celebrated ours recently, too.
Mine was January 10th. I'm 25 now - stand by for a quarter life crisis! Just kidding. Life's too good. I'm looking forward to what 25 has in store for me.
We went to dinner with Seth and Jane to celebrate us girls - Jane's birthday was on the 20th. The P.F. Chang's in LA doesn't often see two babies at one table. The manager was a new dad and he loved chatting with fellow parents. He even comped us a Great Wall of Chocolate because he thought we were cool. Frankly, we are.

Yesterday was Tom's birthday and Shelby and I carried out a fun plan. We went up to UCLA to surprise him after class and take him to lunch.
I wanted to be right at the classroom when he came out and was proud of my detective skills. I snuck into his school email account, found his schedule, looked up the room number, borrowed one of his school maps, and set off to track him down.
We got there right before class let out. When he walked into the hall, I was holding Shelby and she was holding up a "Happy Birthday Dad" sign (which she promptly started eating). I wish I had a photo of his face when he saw us (or any photos for that matter - oops!), because he was so surprised. It was fun to meet his classmates and to watch them gush over Shelby. Tom's such a proud dad!
Side note - the Anderson School at UCLA is beautiful! We are so lucky to have this opportunity. Tom loves being a Bruin.
Happy birthday time to us!

Happy Birthday, both of you! You are surely the coolest detective around.
Happy Birthday! What a fun surprise for Tom!
So many happy days together! And I love the sneaky surprises the best!! I have to agree that the school (okay, the whole campus) is absolutely beautiful--and I love sharing the blue and gold blood. How about a rousing "U!!!C!!!L!!!A!!!UCLA FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!!!" ??? It sounds awesome reverberating through Pauley Pavilion.
Happy Birthday! ... to all of you!
