Festive

We spent the afternoon with our friends today. We decorated Christmas cookies, bounced in a bounce house, and swam. Shelby and Cameron played hard - after we left, both kids fell asleep just three blocks down the street.

A cookie can never have too many sprinkles!

Then the kids joined me at tonight's Young Women activity (I'm the Beehive adviser). 

 

We went to a place in Torrance called Christmas Tree Lane. This is the local neighborhood that gets crazy decked out at Christmas time. 

 

We've loved driving through in years past but have never walked it. 

 

Tonight we wandered through with the Beehives (the "big kids" to Shelby!) and it was fantastic. It was a gorgeous night and it felt great to walk around and see the displays. 

 

Shelby and Cameron had a blast being fought over - the Young Women love these kids!

We even found an Eiffel Tower! It was pretty cool. Shelby ran right over to admire it - a girl after my own heart!

 

 

Shelby and Cameron are so much fun to hang out with. Tom got back into town from a business trip tonight and they both had tons of stories to tell him.
