I got an email about the upcoming BYU vs. Pepperdine baseball series and decided to take the kids.
It was a great first baseball game for Cameron - close to where we live, small field, and a chance to cheer for the Cougars.
I remembered right before we left that one of the BYU pitchers lives in our ward in Moorpark. I reached out to his sister, found out she was there, and the family put us on the guest list. That was so nice of them and made it super easy for us.
The Pepperdine field is small and really well kept, with probably the best view of any college ball field. Hello, Pacific Ocean! The view was nice, the weather was great, and the kids had a fun time.
We didn't stay the whole time, so we'll just pretend we don't know that BYU lost the game. No worries.
