Thanks for the Visit, Grandma!

Grandma Garner came for a special birthday visit. We played nonstop for a week!

Thanks grandma for the fun adventures! It's a long list:

• We finally got a Costco membership (I'm now a true suburbanite)
• Saw the space shuttle and the science center
• Ate Five Guys
• Got Shelby a killer Kindergarten wardrobe
• Played at Golf n Stuff
• Had pizza night
• Made a million cupcakes (thank you, box cake mix!)
• Had a super fun fifth birthday pool party for the cutest five year old

Thanks for coming, friends!

• Brought grandma to our ward for church
• Went to a BBQ with our friends
• Visited Santa Barbara Zoo

The water was surprisingly great!

• Found an amazing hole-in-the-wall Mexican Food place in Santa Barbara (yum!)
• Went to breakfast at another amazing hole-in-the-wall place in Moorpark

Whew! The kids love to play with grandma. And I do too! I'm so glad she came to visit.

I'd say Shelby's fifth birthday was a success.
