First Week of Preschool

Cameron started preschool!

Months ago we told Cameron he would start preschool in the fall. He insisted that he'd need a fire truck backpack for the occasion. He picked out this beauty himself.

The first day went great. He found some trucks when we walked in and instantly I was dead to him. When I picked him up he said matter of factly, "I missed you, mom." I reminded him that I'll always come back, and he just shrugged and said ok. So I think he didn't miss me too much.

Cameron goes to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesday was an especially hot day so we cooled off at the splash pad.

"Cameron, stop stepping on it! You're spraying me!"

Emmett got in on the fun and LOVED it.

We get to carpool with cute Sadie from his class. Listening to their sweet little preschool conversation while we drive just melts me.

It has been so fun to see Cameron find his own place in the world. I think preschool will be great for him.

And while Cameron learns about Fall and the ABCs in preschool, baby boy is learning the art of climbing the stairs. He's on the move!
