Anyway, the party was put on by the people I work with for voiceover talent, so I wanted to take the chance to meet the people I talk to on the phone so often. I wanted Tom to come so I'd have an arm to cling to, so I made sure to let him know there would be a free taco bar. Sold!
They even had bouncers at this party - thank goodness "Heather Seguine: KO Creative +1" was on the list. I'd hate to have those guys throw us out!
After just a few minutes of mingling with people, we realized how glad we are to have our own little social scene in our apartment. So many people go out on the town like that all the time and love it, but I'm so much more content hanging with Tom and relaxing at night, instead of dressing up and drinking a LOT of alcohol. I'm grateful for the gospel - I realize more every day how much wisdom there is in the standards we live as members of the church.
And yes, I'm biased, but I do have to say that Tom was HANDS DOWN the best looking guy in the room.
We enjoyed wearing our nifty little nametags - so much that we wore them home.
Back at home; our favorite scene. Just the two of us.

No, you're not biased; Tom, I'm sure, WAS the best looking guy there, with you, looking his equal. Neat party.
You're pretty! You guys sound just like Jake and I. I always think that we should get out and do social things and sometimes it can be fun but we would rather just have it only be us two! Miss you guys!
I agree! We love our little anti-social apartment bubble.
The question is, when are you guys going to move into our building so we can have anti-social nights together? I am envisioning 30 Rock, popcorn, and possibly pajamas or at least grungy sweatpants.
