Our friends Meghan, Holly, and Jane threw a baby shower last weekend. It was so fun to get together for Shelby and to talk babies for an afternoon. We had yummy food, delicious cupcakes compliments of Elizabeth the pastry chef extraordinaire, awesome hand-made decorations compliments of these talented ladies, fun games, good conversation, and very beautiful gifts. Let's face it - baby girl stuff is adorable! Shelby is going to be one well-dressed, perfectly accessorized little sweetie.
All of that was pretty hard to beat, but the girls had a great surprise waiting for me when I arrived - my cute mom! She flew in and caught me completely by surprise; I had no clue she was coming. There was a lot of plotting to invite her, pick her up at the airport and bring her to the shower, and arrange with my boss for a day off on Monday so she and I could have a long weekend of baby prep. Moms are the best! She's going to be an amazing grandma, too.

Sorry I've been a slacker and haven't sent you all the pics from the shower. I have tons! I'll email them to you this weekend. You are just too cute! I can't wait to meet little Shelby!

I was talking to Ally last night and she told me you were pregnant. Thought I'd swing by the blog and see it for myself. Congrats to you guys. You are going to be such an amazing Mom. I hope the pregnancy is going well!
