As mentioned earlier, my whole family just came to visit us for a fun Disneyland trip. Hooray! I love spending time with my family. It was great to have all of us here - Mom, Dad, Taylor, Andrea, Jake, and baby Haylie.
We wasted no time and went to Disneyland the first day. We didn't plan well - it was Tom's busiest time of the month at work and he couldn't come along. We missed him tons!
After three strikes at the start...
1) Out of Fast Passes for the World of Color show (Mom, Dad, Jake, Andrea, and Haylie caught it later anyway)
2) No longer serving our favorite French Toast breakfast (the park opens at 10am and they stop serving at 10:30am?)
3) A mechanical glitch that shut down Space Mountain (it re-opened later)
...we managed to gain footing and have an awesome day.
The Space Mountain thing was hilarious...it's my mom's favorite ride and one way or another it seems to be shut down every time she's there. Jinxed! We felt bad. Oh well, my mom is tough.
