Birthday Week

Now it's Tom's birthday! Happy birthday husband!

I'm going to celebrate by doing a post that has nothing to do with him. Sorry, Tom. We had a big week and it's time for a recap.

My family came to visit for Cameron's birthday!

The houseguests - Andrea, Ammon, my mom, Haylie

Everyone arrived in the evening and we launched into dinner from The Habit and then birthday cake. I made it in the cool bundt pan that Tom got me for Christmas, and Shelby helped decorate like a champ.

Cameron got a robot chair from Grandma and Grandpa Garner and promptly found the most dangerous way to sit on it.

Aunt Nanny made a cute car carrier slash road for Cameron to bring to church. I wish I had a picture because it's awesome.

The other gifts are sponsored by Ikea this birthday. Sometimes I just want to buy a straight up toy, one that doesn't talk to me or light up or come apart or require batteries. These are simple and simple is more fun.

I think our two year old had a good day!

We holed up on rainy Superbowl Sunday to watch the game.

The kids rocked football jerseys all afternoon. I only have BYU and UCLA, but it worked. We wouldn't want Seahawks jerseys since they booted the 49ers out of the big game, and I don't think anyone wanted a Broncos jersey after the first snap...bummer guys.

We found ourselves outside for some fresh air since the game was less than entertaining. It was chilly but still perfect for bikes and scooters.

The kids gathered for a group shot before Shelby headed off to school on Monday.

Afterward we went to Underwood Farms to play, feed the animals, and get yummy food.

Grandma and Haylie had so much fun in the fire truck...

...that soon the boys joined in too.

Tough guy Ammon got his first scraped chin. You should see the other guy. Kidding!

And what family visit would be complete without Disneyland? We went on Tuesday to celebrate and met Grandpa Garner there. It was a great day as always.

Cameron went on his first big boy roller coaster ride. He's tall enough for the one in Toon Town, which just might be my favorite ride in the park. It's adorable. I was so excited for him to go.

Grandma and Shelby rode behind Cameron and me.

Wednesday morning meant time to say goodbye. Shelby and Haylie's cousin hug was pretty darn cute.

Grandma got in one last Cameron snuggle before heading out.

We laugh that everyone came for Cameron's birthday and left the day before Tom's birthday. Oh, well! He had fun with us.

Thanks for the visit, family!
