Two Taylors in Two Weekends - Part One

Our friend Taylor visited Orange County this past weekend. He's fresh off his mission, and he served in Vancouver, Canada like Tom did, so they had a lot of comparing stories to do. We picked up him and his brother Jesse in Buena Park and headed to Huntington Beach to teach these Iowa boys how to surf.

Here's Tom, Jesse, and Taylor post-surf

It was a nice day, but really windy, so despite the nice water temperature the guys were freezing! The surf wasn't the best, but they had a great first-timer experience.

Tom and Taylor love to goof off, so there had to be a little of that, too...

After a stop at Becker Surf Shop in Newport Beach to get Taylor a souvenir surf shop shirt (say that 5 times fast!), we headed down the PCH to Laguna Beach to eat at Wahoo's Fish Taco. We used to road trip to Laguna Beach in college, so I was excited to go back to an old hangout. I love Wahoo's!

Part Two of the "Two Taylors in Two Weekends" series will be next weekend when my little brother Taylor comes to visit. Can't wait!

Aw, cute! Tom had some boyfriends to play with! That will be so fun to have Taylor there soon! I'm jealous. ;)

Sounds like fun. Your pics remind me of how much I miss the beach, thanks a lot. Maybe one day I'll live near the ocean again...

Fun times. I miss driving along the coast, but my experience has been mostly Nor. Cal.--I usually like my coastline a bit more aggressive, I guess (but not always).
Actually, coast and beach is the only landscape I miss in Utah, so I'm jealous of that.
Love you guys!
