Happy Little Holidays

Tonight has been so strange...Tom and I came home from work to an empty house, went grocery shopping, made dinner, and did laundry. After the last few weeks of fun, it's all so NORMAL now!

We had a great time through Christmas and New Year's. This was our busy schedule:

Dec. 23 - Go to work, head home, pack, leave for the all-night drive to my family's house in Utah. No snow=safe drive!

Dec. 24 - Hang out with my family, go to our traditional Christmas Eve dinner and movie, open 1 gift before bedtime (always pajamas).

Dec. 25 - Have an awesome Christmas with presents, movies, turkey dinner, hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Warnick's house, and Wii!

Dec. 26 - Wake up early to buy Rock Band 2 for Taylor's new Wii, learn that all stores are out of Rock Band 2, cross fingers while Tom chases down the last copy in Utah County, play lots of Rock Band 2 (sweeeet!).
Dec. 27 - Meet up with my old skating friends for breakfast, Tom goes climbing, lots more Rock Band 2.
Dec. 28 - Rock Band 2, church, Rock Band 2, finally finish 1,000 piece Van Gogh puzzle (whew!).

Dec. 29 - Drive home with an extra passenger - Taylor! Stop in Cedar City to visit Grandma Garner, get lots of cookies from her, stop in St. George for Cafe Rio and Nielsen's Frozen Custard, stop in Las Vegas for traffic jam, finally get home.

Dec. 30 - Tom and I have to work, Taylor's set loose in Redondo Beach! Tom and Taylor go climbing and rock at it (pun only a little intended).

Dec. 31 - Taylor comes to Beverly Hills to be his lucky sister's lunch date. After work, we drive up to Santa Barbara in some intense fog and meet up with friends from Provo. Eat steak, play games, watch a movie, I fall asleep before midnight...oops! Drive back. Out til 3:30am!

Jan. 1 - Sleep til noon. Well, except for Tom. How does he do it? Grab burgers and shakes with Taylor, then drop him off at the ghetto Long Beach Airport. Return home and Mom and Dad Seguine are there! They stay for a visit and sleep on our big comfy couch.

Jan. 2 - Disneyland! We're lucky enough to be invited to go with Mom and Dad. Lots of people, lots of fun rides, and lots of beautiful Christmas decorations.

Jan. 3 - We get to see Mom and Dad's old apartment and visit the VA cemetery before they head back up north. Thanks for inviting us along!

Jan. 4 - Whoa...just church? Just us? Oh, and the new Sunbeams I'll be teaching in my calling! Eek! I think I'll be ok...they're adorable.

Jan. 5 - Life as usual. I think we can handle that - life's pretty great.

Eric's parents got rock band for Christmas too. We spent plenty of time on it (6 hours New Years Day!) Get those naps in while you can, I couldn't function with out them either.
