Here's the fun story behind this photo:
The woman standing with Elder Garner is Michele Lewis. Her husband is Chad Lewis, an NFL tight end who played for the Philadelphia Eagles and the St. Louis Rams. Michele's brother was our bishop in Las Vegas years ago. My dad served in the bishopric with him for a while and our families got close, so he and my dad have kept in touch.
Fast forward to the photo, Michele spoke in the MTC this week and her brother, Bishop Fellows, decided to go support her. He looked over and...what? Is that Taylor Garner? They had a fun reunion. Bishop Fellows snapped this photo and texted it to my dad with a facetious "Don't you know this guy?".
We were so excited to see Elder Garner alive, well, and happy in the MTC. What a small world.
Next week it's bye bye MTC and howdy Texas!
