Shelby wanted to take lots of photos today to show dad what we were up to. She likes him to feel included. It turned into a cute little slice of life series.
So here's what we've been up to today...
Shelby's latest thing is checklists. She started our day by writing down everything we should do.

| We had blueberry pancakes for breakfast at Shelby's request (the girl really does run the show). They were delicious! |

| Shelby has swimming lessons this week at the Cal Lutheran University pool. She's having a great time. I've had fun watching her and playing with Cameron at the same time. |
We got a package from Aunt Tricia today - thank you! We love hand-me-downs and Shelby digs Courtney and Izzy's style.

She decided the mittens were like puppets, so a laundry room puppet show was born. |
She watches a show called Lunar Jim, so she borrowed some character names. The plot is all hers!
Yes, Cameron was around today! I feel bad that I didn't snap him as much. But here he is at the library. He contributed some great books to our pile.

We went to the public library to stock up. We walked there (hooray for walking distance!), but Shelby fell asleep in the stroller on the way. So we drove when she woke up. I'm glad attempt #2 worked out.

Cameron has discovered reading, and it's his favorite thing these days. They both love books.

Shelby found puppets in the children's section. That was a theme today it seems.

Shelby got a bubble machine for her birthday. It's perfect for her; she can pour in the solution and turn it on and off herself. She feels pretty cool. She's used up about nine bottles of solution since Saturday, so I'd say it's been a popular activity this week.

Sometimes the simple days are just as memorable as the action-packed ones. I'm glad this one is documented.
