Elder Garner was recently part of a cool story, so I thought I'd share it and a quick update on his mission.
The couple in the back of this photo is Bryan and Jana. Bryan was a member of the Elders' new ward. He was engaged to Jana, who was not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Both Jana and Bryan each had three kids from previous marriages and were about to combine into a big happy family. Jana decided to read the Book of Mormon. Then she decided to meet with Elder Garner and Elder Clement. Then she decided she wanted the church in her life and was ready to be baptized. Great!

Bryan baptized Jana last month and they were married the week after.
Elder Garner and Elder Clement spent the Fourth of July with this cute
family and have grown close to them.
So close, in fact, that they taught Jana's two older children. They decided to be baptized as well. Great again!
They were baptized on Saturday. Taylor says, "They are all so happy!" The family is going strong and life is good in Texas.
Elder Garner loves being Elder Garner. He loves his mission. He admits that he misses us at times (we're a cool family, how could you not miss us!), but he's so happy to be exactly where he needs to be. We're all so proud of him.
