Climbing

Tom invited us to go rock climbing with him today, so we spent the morning at the climbing gym. It was awesome! Shelby enjoyed her first time.

The thing about Shelby is she has no problem going up. 

And up some more.

 

What we forgot is that good old physics law - what goes up must come down. That includes Shelby. The down part freaked her out a little bit. But she got it figured out. The cute employee climbed up to help her learn what to do. He was so sweet with her.

I only took photos of Shelby, but we all had fun. Tom did some awesome bouldering (rope-free) climbs. I even dusted off my climbing shoes and did a few routes. Cameron was great. He didn't climb; he cheered us on and played with toy cars the whole time. It was a good family adventure.
