We went to a pumpkin farm today for Shelby's first field trip. Shelby, Cameron, and I met the preschool class there and had a great time with everyone.
Here's the gang:
And Shelby on top of the gang:
There was a huge Cultivator-turned-slide for the kids to play on.
Cameron got to drive.
We attended a presentation about pumpkins and all the cool varieties.
Then the kids each got to go pick their own pumpkins. We brought home three very cute Sugar Babies.
Once we had pumpkin time and snack time, we were on our own to explore the farm. It was adorable. We stayed for over four hours. For all of us to have that kind of attention span somewhere is pretty rare!
Shelby played at the playground with some friends. Here she is with Elliana and Johnny.
The whole time we were there she talked about the cow train we saw near the start. We finally made it over to the ride. Shelby got to ride darling Clementine the cow barrel and was thrilled.
Cameron and I rode little Betsey. She was not comfortable. But the kids were happy!
We've been so happy with Shelby's preschool. I'm glad we had a great first field trip experience too.
