Pumpkin Patch

I learned a valuable lesson today.

Always carry spare socks!

We went to a pumpkin patch today with our friends. It was adorable and we had lots of fun. The down side was that many of the activities required socks, not shoes.

My kids verrrry rarely wear socks. I don't even own socks that fit Cameron right now. So they were barefoot in their shoes. A recipe for disaster since I knew they'd want to try everything. Sigh.

We had them sneak into the bounce house barefoot but they promptly got kicked out. With no refund! My fault for trying to break the rules.

I had to say no to lots of things, but there was plenty of adorableness I could say yes to. So we had a fantastic time.

Cheeeese!

Apparently this is a four-legged scarecrow. Go with it.

Shelby and Nash won noisy horns at the game booth. They thought their new toys were awesome. Cameron was not a fan.

This little foursome melts me. They're so darn cute. I couldn't decide which group shot to post.

After photo ops and some cookies (thanks for sharing, Heather!), we headed home.

Shelby blowing the whistle (horn!) on my unpreparedness.

I will now always have socks in the car.
