Friday was my birthday! January 10th is a good day.
Shelby's classmate had a birthday party after preschool that day. It was cute to see the whole class playing together. Plus I got to eat pizza and cupcakes and act like all the fanfare was for me too.

| Shelby and Lucas, the birthday boy. Shelby was pumped about her Ring Pop. |
 |
| Pin the something on the Spiderman. |
 |
| The kids call this the roller coaster. I gave up on spinning it - a couple of kids lost their grip. I played it safe and took photos instead. |
 |
| My spider girl. |
Shelby got to bring home the "Me Bag" from preschool. She fills it with things about herself and her life these days. There are also two friends that stay for a visit - Mr. Mouse and Mr. Pig. Random. She had fun though. She did a puppet show for me.
 |
| Mr. Mouse kept dancing a little too quickly to avoid the blur. |
Then the puppets joined Patch for some birthday cake. Tom made Mexican Chocolate Cake for me - delicious! I'm glad it didn't taste like wax. He put a LOT of candles in it. I felt old.
 |
| Shelby took the photo herself. She has more fun behind the camera. |
After another birthday party on Saturday morning - January is a busy birthday month! - we got a special visitor. Grandpa Seguine came to see us! He was in town for work and stayed with us at Hotel Seguine. The kids were so excited to play with him.
 |
| Tom loaned Shelby his jacket so she didn't get cold. She's pretty cute in that big hood. |
We went to dinner in Calabasas at a place called Sagebrush Cantina.
Yummy! It was a perfect birthday dinner spot. I'm always on board for
eating outside in January.
Thanks for the visit!
