Our Ballerina

Shelby has been taking a ballet and tap class at the community center and loving it.

Today the final class was all about showing off for the parents. There ended up being only two girls in this section of the class, so Shelby had plenty of room to shine. She liked it that way.

After they did their ballet routine they had a chance to show off with ribbons.

Then they did their tap routine.

And then more ribbons. Shelby was in heaven.

The teacher was sweet and let Cameron play too. It was fun for him not to just be stuck on my lap. He felt pretty cool.

I love these cuties!
Bye!

Great job Shelby!

I owe my sweet friend Holly a shout out on this post. I wanted Shelby to have shoes for the class but didn't want to splurge on brand new ones knowing that there are so many outgrown pairs out there. Enter Holly with a huge bag of barely used ballet and tap shoes just Shelby's size, and she threw in some leotards as well. It was perfect. Thank you!

A little late, but so happy they worked out! What a beautiful ballerina! Maybe the dancing bug will strike again and her tapping and twirling skills will all come back to her! Her class and teacher look so cute.
