Now, with that said, I would like to point out one little thing. Direct your attention to the end of Tom's "Toy Corner: Part 1" blog post - the part where he says:
"Oh yeah, then I figured I could do a little more and stuck some extra fans into my computer case. It now pushes more than 500 cu. ft/min of air through the case to keep it cool."Now direct your attention to the part where he references three things that also push more than 500 cu. ft/min of air and you'll see pictured a room blower, leaf blower, and a BMW Turbo Charger.
Let's picture, shall we, how LOUD room blowers, leaf blowers, and BMW Turbo Chargers are.
Now picture that in your house. Enough said.

I had not thought that the fans would add noise also. I just had to laugh when I read your response! You guys are just too cute.
Too funny! In his mind it makes perfect sense. What's a little noise for the sake of speed?
I was wondering about that. And I'm sure he doesn't even notice the noise.
Both fantastic posts that left me laughing out loud.
Heather, you are amazing--I love the subtlety. You have a very delicate, incisive, touche'. Love you
Noise canceling headphones do a really good job of canceling air fan noise!
Love, Dad
Soooooooo funny. There is NO WAY a person could maintain sanity with THAT MUCH NOISE. You will just have to do some away from home stuff while he computes and with the speed of his new PC you should not be gone long. ROFL
oh that's great, Heather! Your personality is written all over that post! You make me laugh. :)
Tom may be a nerd, but you are obviously a saint--I think that trumps.
