Grandma!

We had more grandma time last week - Grandma Seguine came to visit! We had some fantastic adventures.

DAY 1...

Both Shelby and Patch got new quilts - spoiled kids! Shelby snuggled right in.

Shelby loves her Minnie quilt and Patch loves his quilt, too.

We spent the afternoon at Shelby's favorite park. Shelby showed off her sliding, climbing, and dangling skills.

Then we went to UCLA for the evening. Tom had a final exam (not the best timing; he's a good sport), so he headed off to class while we girls explored the campus. Grandma Seguine is a UCLA alum, so she had plenty of stories to tell as we wandered around.

Shelby was skittish at first, so we showed her that the big bear is just like her. Legs, feet, and toes! She was ok after that.

Shelby got DECKED OUT at the student store! She refused to take off the beads, so Grandma Seguine just bought them. Her meltdown was pretty funny...

DAY 2...

Disneyland, of course! It was St. Patrick's Day and it was fun to be part of the sea of green. It was a gorgeous day and we had a great time.

 

Grandma got popcorn to share with Shelby. This little girl downed more than her share!

We wore her out! It was 5pm before she finally conked out. She'd never gone that long without a nap before!

Shelby busted a move when we got out of the Dumbo ride. Cute!

DAYS 3 & 4...

Shopping at Barnes and Noble, playing at the beach, eating Friday night pizza (a family tradition!) and taking a family walk. There were a few naps thrown in there, too - we had to recuperate from our busy days!
