3.14 and a great excuse to eat pie!
We had chicken pot pie for dinner and then cinnamon peach pie for dessert. Ok, the store called it a tart, but I won't let Whole Foods decide what we're eating! It was round, it had crust, and it was served in a pie tin. That's pie, baby.
If you're going to celebrate next time, be sure to eat the version of pie with an "e" at the end, it's much more flavorful than "e"-less pi.
We're such a nerdy family, but we have fun.

I love it! We had Chicken Pot Pie too, and blackberry custard pie :) Pi day is such a happy day!!

4 more years till 3.1415 and THEN it will truly be pi day! Imagine the scene when flocks of partying nerds take to the streets!
so fun! We had pie had as well. Well, ham and cheese quiche (baked in a pie crust) and pecan pie. Delish!

What a fun dinner! You need to remind me next year when pi day is coming up so I can celebrate it too! Guess we aren't nerdy enough to remember on our own. ;)
