Happy Turkey Day!

I'm thankful to have spent this Thanksgiving with a husband and little girl I adore, and friends who make every get-together so memorable. We've spent the last three Thanksgivings with our friends, and we love it.

And...meet our turkey friend. We didn't get around to carving a jack-o-lantern before Halloween, so we had a spare pumpkin lying around. We decided to make a turkey instead to pay homage to Thanksgiving. I think we'll do it again next year; it's too cute!

Shelby has been really into the movie Dumbo lately (i.e. watching it back to back every day for the last week or so), and she thought it was great that the turkey has "magic feathers" like the one Dumbo carries.
