We haven't seen a lot of Tom on Saturdays lately as school has been very busy, so we were thrilled that he could come along tonight. Shelby adores her dad!
There were lots of fun ways to stay entertained while we waited for the train to pick us up - snowboarding snowmen, Christmas lights, snuggles, and trees to climb.
She was so excited to ride the "chugga chugga choo choo train" with dad.
Here we are in the tunnel of lights - she was transfixed.
Tom also kept her entertained while we waited in line to see Santa Claus. She was a big fan of the train table. Her love of the movie Dumbo has also fueled her love of trains, so this was a good time to be at Travel Town surrounded by them!
She walked right up to Santa without hesitation - she knew the odds were good that she'd get a treat from him. She was right and happily snatched up her candy cane.
Santa invited the whole family up for a photo. He even offered Tom a seat on his extra knee. Yep, Tom is that irresistible! I'm glad Tom didn't take him up on the offer, though. That could have been awkward.
We're glad we had a chance to kick off the Christmas season in such a fun way. Bring it on!

We waited in line and didn't get any decent pictures. Boo. But the girls had a good time. But I think your family had more fun. Good job seeing Santa so many times.
These pictures are fantastic. Shelby and Chad are going to have such a fantastic life with the blessing of such great parenting.
