We went in search of one thing - dinosaurs!
There is a new dinosaur exhibit and what we saw of it was fantastic.
Unfortunately Shelby's stamina wasn't quite there as much as it usually is; I didn't plan well and should have gone earlier in the day. Nevertheless, we had a blast at the dinosaur, gem, mammal, and California history exhibits. We even braved the icky Insect Zoo. Not my favorite! I'm squeamish.
Shelby's favorite part was our picnic lunch on the front lawn. It's the first time she was still enough to take a decent photo, but I still couldn't catch her looking at the camera!

| Another favorite - playing in the dirt. Simple pleasures! We definitely plan to visit this museum again and we'll bring Tom along - he'll love the dinosaurs. |
