Last Visits

Shelby is my little buddy. We do pretty much everything together, as moms and kids do. I know that Cameron will join in the fun when he comes and I'm super excited, but I also know it will be the end of the "Mom and Shelby" era. So we've been trying to get in as many just the two of us activities as possible before the baby comes and things slow down for a bit.

Disneyland was high on the list, of course. We went for a last hurrah visit last week and had a great time. We always do.

We hadn't been on Pirates of the Caribbean for quite a while. So much fun!

On Thursday we walked to the Farmers' Market for some sugar sweet strawberries and then on to the beach.

I think things are reversed here weather-wise because we've had some of our best beach visits in fall and winter rather than summer!

It was a gorgeous 80-degrees and we had a great beach day. Shelby played in the sand, climbed around on the lifeguard tower, and ran about a mile back and forth. We walked back and munched our strawberries. Not a single one made it back to our house.

This photo is here just for the adorable factor. I don't let Shelby play outside without shoes on, but I never said she has to wear hers! She wears mine quite well.

I've had fun adventures with this cute girl in the last few weeks of pregnancy. I'm excited to start making memories as a two-kid mom soon!
