Although it feels like Christmas was ages ago, I still want to blog about our visit to Utah so I can make sure I remember our fun times.
Ready for a jaw-dropping surprise? I forgot our camera. Yup, not actually a surprise at all. Andrea bailed me out once again - all of these photos are from her. Thank you, sister!
In addition to our regular Christmas festivities like seeing the lights at Temple Square, opening jammies on Christmas Eve night, and opening presents Christmas morning, we were able to fit in lots of other adventures.
We visited the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point and had a blast. Shelby and Haylie loved the science experiments, dinosaur bones, and all of the interactive stuff. My favorite part was watching them play in the sand at the end of our visit. They're so cute! There's an area to play in sand and water and an area to dig for fossils. The girls stayed busy.
We also got to celebrate Haylie's second birthday. I'm glad she was born close to Christmas day so we can all be together on her big day. Andrea and Jake filled the hall with balloons so Haylie had a fun surprise to wake up to post-nap. Shelby got in on the action, too.
We had a great time in Utah and are glad we have a chance to spend the holidays with our cute family each year.
