Our Busy Church Activity Weekend

We got to meet up with friends from our ward at two fun church activities this weekend.

On Friday, we finally went to Mormon Night at Dodger Stadium!

Tom had been out of town all week, so it was a happy reunion at the stadium.

As it was Mormon Night, we enjoyed a couple of guest visits. Kirby Heyborne and Erik Christensen did a fabulous job singing The Star Spangled Banner.

Elder Bednar threw out the first pitch!

Cameron thought it was cool to be allowed to clap so much at the game.

We went for a group shot, but Cameron just wanted to dangle upside down!

Shelby took control of my phone for awhile, so here's the game through her eyes...

She caught Elder and Sister Bednar on the big screens.

She obviously liked the vendors!

Her little feet propped up - so cute.

We made it through the fifth inning - not too bad! The kids crashed in the car on the way home. Altogether a successful night.

Except the Dodgers lost to the Cardinals. Maybe it's because we ditched out.

Go Dodgers!

We then had a wild Saturday night at the Moorpark 1st Ward Hoedown. A family in our ward has a ranch and invited over 200 guests to eat, play, and dance. It was awesome.

Our little cowboy and cowgirl.

The highlight of the night for me was my handsome husband in the white. He sang in a barbershop quartet and was amazing. He's a charmer.

Afterward there was even more music and some fun dancing. I can't remember the last time I did the Electric Slide!

Cameron froze like this for about two minutes when the band started playing. He wasn't sure what to think, but decided he was a fan.

Shelby felt patriotic. The 4th of July is coming up!

Fun stuff!
