Quick recap - Jessica is my good friend from college. We haven't seen each other as much as we'd like in the years since the BYU days, but we've kept in touch well. I like her lots!

Ryan is from Claremont and they came out to bless baby Eden in his home ward. Lucky for us it's not too far of a drive, and it was worth it. I hadn't seen Jessica for a year, the guys hadn't seen each other in even longer, I hadn't seen Austin since he was 8 months old (he's almost 3), and I got to meet Eden Paige for the first time. What a cutie!
Eden wasn't a fan of the circle of men around her - she cried during the blessing. Ryan projected enough, though - he didn't let himself get upstaged by his little girl! It was a sweet blessing. We were lucky to be there for Austin's blessing in Las Vegas as well, and it's so neat to watch Jessica's family grow. Ryan's a good catch, and I wouldn't want anything less for someone as awesome as Jessica.
When we got home, Shelby decided to play in her toy box. I guess it's too much work to pull the toys out.

Were you in my home ward this past week? Claremont II! I don't know Ryan (he's a lot younger than me and we moved in 1994) though.
