Today we went to the beautiful South Coast Botanic Garden.I've driven past this place several times and haven't gotten past "Hm, I bet that place is really beautiful. I should go sometime." Thank goodness I have friends who plan things.
Shelby loved it. She was adorable. She crawled around on the grass during our picnic lunch, cruised in her stroller, and then she got to feed the ducks!
She took well to feeding the ducks - she was all about throwing things with permission. We fed them leftover Goldfish crackers from lunch. Is that ok for ducks? Hm...at least they seemed to enjoy them. Shelby would throw the Goldfish in all by herself and got so excited when the ducks came near to munch.The video shows Shelby wandering around at the lake. Walking totally clicked with her last week, and she's been on her feet about 90% of the time recently. Go Shelby!

I love the little chubby arms out to the side as she walks. She's so big, I'm so glad you guys are all coming out in October!
