So today in the produce section, Shelby was in the cart and I had my back turned getting some asparagus. When I turned around, Shelby was munching a nectarine.
She had reached over and helped herself from the display! She'd already taken several little bites, so I just let her keep it. She love, love, loved it and snacked on it the rest of the trip.
When we got to the checkstand, the checker told me it was on the house. I think he could sense that if I took it away to ring it up she'd have a bit of a meltdown! Or maybe she just knows how to use her feminine wiles.

I put her in her high chair so she could finish it (and should have used a bib...look at that wet shirt...), and she ate it down to the pit all by herself. She was so focused on the yummy task at hand - she's rarely that quiet!

Lisa loves them too! She will eat them all up herself. I also have to watch when i go grocery shopping because lisa loves to help herself to whatever she can get her little hands on!

I gave Haylie a taste of nectarine the other day and she seemed to like it, too! Guess it's a baby favorite! (Although, Shelby isn't really a baby anymore!) That's is so funny!
