The Year of Five Years

So later this year, Tom and I will celebrate our fifth anniversary. Hooray! That means that 2011 will be full of five year milestones. I think that's a pretty big deal, so I plan on remembering as many as possible.

Today's milestone: The five year anniversary of our first date!

We went indoor rock climbing, which is the perfect first date according to Tom. His reasons:
- The girl generally wears less clothing than she normally would since it's a "workout" type thing.
- The guy gets to break the touch barrier a bit as he helps the girl climb.
- If the guy is good at climbing (which Tom is!), then he gets to show off for the girl.

Nice, right? Ha, ha.

Tom remembers us going for Jamba Juice afterward, but I don't remember that at all. Who knows what happened? Jamba or not, I cut the date short after climbing because I had a hair appointment. Prissy much? I'm glad Tom is a patient guy. Anyway, we had a great time. Tom was a great coach and quite the charmer.
